Welcome
It gives us pleasure to announce our organization of a two day international symposium on “Functional Hemodynamic and Fluid Therapy” in Istanbul on April 27 and 28, 2011.
The aim of the symposium is to provide you with knowledge that you can apply at the bedside . The symposium will involve topics ranging from the (patho)physiology (understanding the basics of the hemodynamic management of hypovolemia, sepsis and shock and how fluids can be used to correct hemodynamic instability), the tools (working principles, practical applications) and the therapy (vasoactive compounds, the different fluids, how and when to use in surgery and critical illness). There will be an opportunity to present posters by attendees. In addition the international industrial exhibition will have hands on applications.
The program is set to refresh the skilled intensivist and also to educate intensivists in training and research staff of intensive care departments.
This symposium is part of the on-going Erasmus Critical Care Forum events, co-hosted by the Turkish Intensive Care Society and under auspices of the European Society of Intensive Care Medicine
We invite you to mark this event in your agenda and join us in Istanbul in spring time!
